Here you'll find descriptions of the group training sessions we're now offering at our new centre. If you don't find what you're looking for, don't worry - there's a lot more on our new website. We host up to 4 classes each day at our state-of-the-art centre, so feel free to explore our offerings at your convenience. TUESDAY 6:30PM PRIMALCOMBAT

TIME: TUESDAY - 7:00PM-8:00PM
Primal Combat is a class aimed at those who like to put the punch into their training. There is no base level or standard required to participate in primal combat, it is suitable for the experienced and beginners alike!
 
It will suit those with or without combat sport experience, and, even if a complete 'newbie', this class would enable you to learn the basics of a new skill.
 
The class itself will be an action packed 50 minutes consisting of an intense warm up to loosen those limbs, pad and mitt drills, shuttles and body-weight work and a good cool down to ensure those aches are as minimal as possible in the morning. No two classes will be the same and I will ensure technique is kept to create an enjoyable and safe class. I will also endeavor to MOTIVATE and not intimidate as the aim of this class is to create an intense but fun workout to help you reach your goals.
 
The class will push your aerobic and anaerobic abilities, increasing your cardiovascular abilities, building/toning lean muscle and BLASTING AWAY THAT BODY FAT. This metabolic workout will carry on burning fat into the next day, so don't dilly dally... book on now!

WEDNESDAY 7PM PRIMALWOD

Train like a warrior; fortify your body with lean muscle and wage war against fat in this brand new Primal session!
The hour is divided up into three parts:
 
Component 1: Learn and Execute - Spend time learning new skills and perfecting technique. Whether you choose to take these new skills to the gym to bust through those pesky plateaus or simply revel off the results of correctly utilising compound and technical movement patterns during weekly sessions, rest assured that knowledge really is explosive power. Get ready to improve your performance and say hello to faster results.
 
Component 2: Workout of The Day (WOD) - Jump into teams and send your metabolism into overdrive in up to 20 minutes of metabolic conditioning designed to give your body the stimulus it needs to destroy body fat and build lean muscle tissue. Each week take on a new Partner WOD or challenge your team's previous record and work together to push your bodies to the limit and earn the results you deserve. Whether the challenge is to complete as many rounds as possible, or fire out the most repetitions, work side by side in this fast paced, high intensity workout to ensure your team earns bragging rights and a sense of well earned personal achievement.
 
Component 3: Bonus Round - Finish off the session with the bonus component, which can be anything from targeted core exercise, mat work, high intensity tabata intervals, or even spending a little longer promoting mobility and flexibility. This bonus round is at the discretion of the trainer, and dependant upon the performance earlier on in the session, the trainer's expertise will be employed in order to get the best out of everybody in the final minutes to ensure you squeeze out every last bit of conditioning potential.

SATURDAY 09.30 PRIMAL BOOTCAMP

TIME: SATURDAY - 9:30AM-10:30AM
Pah! Throw the weights bench aside and throw away the feather duster, this is not for the faint-hearted - prepare to train dirty! Embrace the rain and make like a warrior with an hour of intense cardiovascular and functional exercise that'll certainly leave your body with something to think about. No doubt about it, bootcamp is no walk in the park... but when all those mid workout aches and pains subside and the dust has settled, oh boy - will you feel great afterward.
 
Train with equipment that isn't available in the gym - play with tractor tyres, macebells, sledgehammers, parallettes, hydro drums and of course some of the more familiar gym and bootcamp staples - slam balls, sand bags and lots of wide open space - for sprints, of course.
 
Whether you're fitness mad and already a member of a gym in Burnley or not currently nailed down, we're serving up a helping of something different, something intense, and something that will blow your body away - pushing it to it's limits so that it can bounce back fitter, stronger and healthier.
 
PrimalBOOTCAMP is a mash-up of functional madness, a celebration of caveman (or cavewoman!) mentality - go back to your roots with the Primal Bootcamp and train like a primate! Put your body to good use and DEMAND results.
